Keep in mind that it may not be warped but moves from parallel when tightening..

Re: Test print quality questionable

Like AK says, Looks like def out of focus. The co. calibrates and does a test print before shipping, but focus can change in shipping.

Re: Abort code 25000

Good luck. Maybe there is a power fluctuation at the outlet (small arc or a loose connection). That is all it would take to abort a print.

Re: Abort code 25000

TaJs. I try to respond to all questions here on the Forum. I did respond to your post, but figured it best answered by the peep at the factory regarding the shutting down, since I had not had that happen with my machine (that i thought was not my doing). Sometime I don't think the factory peeps unde...

Made me remember "Sirens" Real models in the water. The one with Hugh Grant as the minister.

Re: Long Time Lurker With A Print Issue

Buy the stainless steel build table makes calibration a breeze.

Start there.

Re: Yellow is not mellow

What is your high end temp., and have u calibrated your oven to check the temp.

It must be burnout, the yellow is the easiest to cast.

Re: 1kg = a Liter?

I use 50 cents per print for all resins. Covers cost of resin, supports, etc. It's such a small percentage of a custom job that it's almost irrelevant.

Re: offtopic question for jewleryshop owners

The only easy to use unit I ever had was a recovery system to remove gold from cyanide "bombing" solution. It was great and easy to use but the disposal of the "neutralized" solution was a headache. This was in a factory setting where we bombed all castings to remove scale. This ...

Re: models in the water

There is no reason why sitting in water should make any difference. I leave some of my prints in the model cure over night. Not curing just sitting after curing.

Re: 1kg = a Liter?

Do you mean cost to print or cost of cast metal. I use .9 times the weight of the cured model to determine metal needed. Weight of print x .9 = approx. weight in wax* Weight in wax x S.G. of metal to be used = metal weight of cast print (does not include sprues or button). Just if u needed to know. ...

Re: Process aborted Power loss or Jammed Mechanism

Had this usb fan (5 inch) on both my machines. Just figured less heat the better. USB powered variable speed to pull air across the projector and board. Exhaust fan. The bracket was made by a friend and printed in abs. Don't even remember where I got now. Been almost 3 yrs ago. Fan and mounting.JPG ...

Re: offtopic question for jewleryshop owners

Like AK says it's a real pain. Tried a few times and not worth the time spent. Find a reputable refiner and send your bench sweeps and scrap and just take bullion as payment. Local "gold buyer" may be a good source for the same. I buy scratch and dent coinage from mine at spot, usually. Th...

Re: Yellow is not mellow

Are u sure that's ash or surface investment due to cold air striking the surface? There is no way u could have that much ash from Green or yellow. Bet it's investment breakup.
