Re: Print Lifting Off Build Table

Yea that. Get the new stainless steel platform. Makes calibrating a breeze and it doesn't warp.

Re: Print Lifting Off Build Table

The thickness on the end that is releasing looks thicker. Over cure of attachment layers and subsequent layers will cause this. Looks like build table if not perpendicular to the PDMS. Do build table calibration over.

Re: xy trouble - getting stuck during print

You must clean the uncured resin from a print before curing. Wash with Isopropyl alcohol using a lab squirt bottle and wash in liquid soap and water in an ultrasonic if u have one. You need some pressure on the build table when calibrating. I would get the new stainless steel build table from the B9...

Re: xy trouble - getting stuck during print

Don't use too much pressure when calibrating the build table just want it to touch the PDMS and be parallel to the build table. Sounds like something is dragging. when printing. Can u post pic of the calibration print.

Have u watched the videos on calibration. There is one to analyze the calibration print. Go to "Support" top of page. Scroll down to register for "Support Portal" to access videos.

Re: Bronze casting - mold casting temperature?

I learned with propane and oxy, but in the factory and in my shop (over 30 yrs) I have used Acetylene and oxy.

I know some don't like it but I have no issues with it. Even melts plat.

Re: PROJECTOR LAMP REPLACE

I think u have a bad cable somewhere. I had the same issue when I had my stuff plugged into a bad USB hub. Change some of the cables u are using to tether to the printer and computer, one at a time.

You need a hotter or larger flame. Do you have a picture of the torch and head?

Re: PROJECTOR LAMP REPLACE

Do what the message said and unplug and plug all back. Has happened to many of us over the years. Don't think it has anything to do with the bulb. At least I don't think it does.

Re: Español

AK, I think is using Google Translate. I have clicked on it with Spanish post and it does a pretty good job.

The translate window is showing in my upper right corner. If u click it, it will translate all the Spanish to English.

Re: Pdms, model growing into surface ??

You have to make sure the set screw to the shaft is on the flatted surface to avoid slipping. This is very important.

Re: Pdms, model growing into surface ??

you def have improved the focus. You can remove the x axis motor and make sure no resin has gotten into the gear box. Has happened to others. While u are there grease the gears.

Re: Pdms, model growing into surface ??

I would do a calibration print, use the file supplied by B9. Recalibrate build table. Make sure settings are default for print xy and z choosen.

Documents > My Documents >B9 Creator >Calibrations >v 1.1 > choose correct print file.

Re: z-axis setting/measurement

If your mixtures are not sticking then u need longer exposures for the attachment layers, u should not need to change the surface of the build table.

Re: Settings Maxed Out

If u are truly maxed out, then maybe raise the MSM to increase all the exposure times while printing. If u increase all the exposure times this way u may need to go back to the older slope and balance settings or maybe adjust after a new calibration print after raising the MSM. How many hrs on the l...

Re: Suggestions for a larger curing dish

I would just cure it for 6 min at a time flip it to get all surfaces. Keep doing it till it's not tacky. You could always put it in the direct sunlight in a bowl of water (maybe foil or mirror underneath) till it's "done".
