Re: Priting problems at normal msm

When u use the default settings created by the software for exposure times, etc. Then lamp aging is done for you.

When u change MSM, fade, balance, and slope, etc. in the printer manager and "save" your changes then the lamp aging continues to work.

Re: Supports or no supports for this?

Do you have a picture of the layout with supports. All the B9 software allows u to see slice by slice.

When u select "Print" go to "job preview" and scroll through all slices.

Need Hearts on Fire for insurance replacement

Think we need a "Business" topic on the forum. Only place I could put this post. Don't know where to start. Do replacement work for State Farm. First time that I have had to replace/quote with a branded diamond. What are my options, or does anyone here sell them? Never carried branded ston...

Re: Supports or no supports for this?

u cannot print those horizontal surfaces successfully without supports. should rotate and or tilt to avoid those surfaces. Dont' think I would print that with no supports. It can be done snapped to floor depending on the thickness of the element snapped to floor.

Re: Yellow cherry mix

I only have experience with the red and cherry mix. The settings are already in the software for 1:1 mix for the 1.2 and 1.1 machines. The factory has only dedicated it's time to Emerald green, yellow, and black at this time for the new Core Series.

Re: Is it okay to use alcohol in an ultrasonic cleaner? Is it even needed?

I use a plastic container with hot water 120 to 130 degrees. I dip the print in dawn and water drop in the container of hot water and float the container in the ultrasonic. U can change the water when it clouds from the cleaning. leave a few minutes. When u change the water and see no cloud rising f...

Re: So few posts on Core series...

The 600 hrs and 1 yr is the warranty. The "life of a vat is still kind of an unknown. I have 110 print sessions on one vat and no signs of fogging of any kind. It is going to be interesting as to the actual usable life of the Duravat.

Re: Assistance supporting a model with many overhangs

Printable? yes. Going to take some work to get all the supports correct. When u use the auto support tool move the slider to start removing supports and get it to a min and then check it carefully to remove ones u don't really need and add where u think appropriate. I just dont' have the time to do ...

Re: Is this from overexposure, or a calibration issue?

Anytime u print anything over about 1mm thick and snapped to floor u risk the print releasing from the build table. When the attachment layers are formed (longer exposure times) then the subsequent layers are formed u are still exposing the attachment layers to light and u over cure and warping can ...

Re: size error

Is that resin B9 yellow or a mix of some kind, or third party?

Post a pic of a print with prongs or your layout with supports. What is the smallest prong diameter u are trying to print?

Re: ISSUE ON SETTING CUSTOM SUPPORT PARAMETERS IN THINY PARTS

I usually do all those type supports in CAD. If i were going to do custom supports i would just do a round one with no cones.

Can't read any of the settings in your first capture.

I would leave it at the default setting. Never seen any need to adjust this for my jewelry print in over 3 yrs.

Re: issues with supports

Have u adjusted the vat speed from the default settings? Post picture of the layout (screen capture) with supports.

Also u can adjust the cone size and the penetration of the supports.
