Re: The problem of holes

Then your resolution is 50 and you choose the slice thickness when u print. The software for the core slices all at 10 microns and u choose what u want the layer thickness to be when u print (multiples of 10 up to 70 microns). When u choose a resin then there are choices on the touch screen for laye...

Have to see your layout for printing, which machine, which resin, which resolution, slice thickness, etc..

Can't advise without information.

Re: Unable to start projector.

Unplug the power cord to the projector and wait, then plug it back in. This will reboot the projector internally. Has worked for me in the past when things get a little wonky. Same thing the cable company tells u to try first on your cable box.

Re: supports arrangement

If u remove the supports before curing you get less of the dipples on the surface.

You can patch with a little resin and cure or wax them up when spruing for casting.

Re: Issue with parts with features

Agree with metalcaster, but would like to see pic of the details of the molded features to better advise. How thick is the piece? If it is over 1mm thick when snapped to floor then it could release if printed at 30 or 20 microns due to over exposure of the attachment layers. Might have to add founda...

Re: X Axis motor issue

Don't forget to check cables. Have had issues in the past with a bad HDMI cable and also bad USB hub. When all else fails try a different computer.

Re: supports arrangement

You have to create the "base support" in your CAD program and make it part of the model for export. Other supports are added in the B9 software.

Re: Solutions to my Castings

It looks like most casting houses and small shops and larger stores and chains have adjusted to the new tech. When over 2,000 B9 and Core users are casting the B9 resins daily (this does not include the hundreds that are using the B9 resins on other non B9 machines) it is clear that these casters u ...

Re: Test Print

The core will not accept the file as stated above. Like said use the "B9 Create" for layout and slicing. The B9 Create software slices all layouts at 10 microns. When sent to the core or moved there by USB then u select the slice thickness for that print session (all are multiples of 10 mi...

Re: PDMS replacements

Users are using FEP for the poly and metal vats only (used with the v1.1 and v1.2).

If u do anything to the DuraVat u will void the warranty and there goes a 1k vat, why would u want to mess with the core vat?

Have u tried saving the layout as an .stl (before slicing) and then import as a model for the 1.2?

Re: Core to 1.2 slicing

Do you mean u want to save the layout file from the core and input into 1.2 for slicing?

You can not use a sliced file from the core software for use on the 1.2.
