When replacing the lamp assembly or just the lamp on the 1.2 u don't need this. Projector was modified at the factory in SD and spacer is there already.

Re: Is anyone using the new Core series printer?

I laid out hard earned cash for mine too. Just happened to get one of the first units. I understand about other users input.

There are clients of mine already using. Maybe some will chime in soon.

Re: Is anyone using the new Core series printer?

Tajs, i have over 80 print sessions for myself, two stores here in town, samples to many clients. Casting everyday. Only one failed print and it was because I was trying to see how few supports I could get by with. love the 530 most prints on rings that are vertical print between 35 and 60 min (30 a...

Re: Largest print to date.

I cured this piece before the Model Cure was released. I oven cured with slow ramp to about 325 F and left it for 1 hr. Larger items like this can crack if ramped temp is too fast. Sun curing and Model Cure method are prob best to avoid over "cooking" in the oven and avoid cracking. You co...

Re: Questions about operation compared to 1.2

The stirring and vat sweeping feature is on the v1.2 B9. The stirring is manual in the Core Machine, done between print sessions. No need for sweeper in the Core because it is direct lift tech and there is no x motion, only Z.

Re: Printer settings have no effect.

Just a note: are u aware that if u make any changes on the left side of print screen, u override the software (msm won't work).

You can make changes on the right side of the screen and it's ok (all mechanical settigns).

Just wanted to make sure u knew.

Re: Printer settings have no effect.

I was talking about the measurements on the printed elements of the calibrationg print, not the thickness. Looks like u need to recalibrate the build table possibly. Are u using the new stainless steel build table assembly. If not, get one, it solves many issues with calibration. Robert Sorry for th...

Re: Printer settings have no effect.

If u are trying to make changes that involve measurements as small as .01 mm, then u will prob continue to be frustrated. The machine was not built to have tolerances of .01mm. The machine was built to produce quality prints and prototypes for use by modelers, jewelers, etc. Very high tolerance engi...

Re: VAT SLIDE AT THE TOP VELOCITY ON STARTING

The only time i unplug anything is when there is the threat of an electrical storm. I think my v1.2 has been pluged up (and I mean everything) for a couple of yrs. or more (since first batch produced). It might have been "unpluged 3 or 4 times in that time period. That means that the green ligh...

Re: Maker Juice Waxcast printing problems

That's just not fair to say. There are over 2,000 v1.1 and v1.2 in use daily. I don't see any of them complaining, including me. Been running both versions since the beginning with no problems. If u are trying to print with 3rd party resins and modified vats, etc. then yes maybe, the "Good luck...

Re: Printer settings have no effect.

Were these settings on an assembled machine from the factory. If u were getting good calibration prints before why are u making changes. If u change resins the only change u should have to make if your calibration was good should be the MSM.

What resin are u using.
